Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their business processes, objectives, and requirements.

Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of business workflows, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.

Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design Odoo solutions accordingly. Configure Odoo modules, including defining workflows, access rights, reports, dashboards, and other customizations, to meet client needs.

Develop implementation plans, timelines, and project schedules. Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful execution of Odoo implementations, coordinating tasks, and managing dependencies.

Conduct user training sessions to educate clients and end-users on how to effectively use and leverage the Odoo system. Assist in change management activities to drive user adoption and ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Analyze and optimize existing business processes, leveraging the capabilities of the Odoo ERP system. Identify opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

Prepare comprehensive functional documentation, including functional specifications, system design, process flow diagrams, and user manuals. Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible for clients and internal teams.

Perform functional testing of the configured Odoo system to validate its compliance with business requirements. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve any functional issues or system bugs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and providing ongoing support and guidance. Offer expert advice on Odoo best practices, industry trends, and system improvements.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, technical consultants, and project managers, to ensure seamless communication, efficient knowledge sharing, and successful project delivery.

Keep abreast of the latest updates and developments in the Odoo ERP ecosystem. Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the ERP domain and propose innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or similar role, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience

Strong understanding of business processes and experience in analyzing and documenting functional requirements.

In-depth knowledge of Odoo ERP functionalities, modules, and configurations.

Proficiency in conducting business process mapping, gap analysis, and change management.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in delivering end-user training and providing post-implementation support.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose optimal solutions.

Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and work under tight deadlines.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Odoo certification or relevant certifications in ERP systems.

Experience in implementing Odoo modules such as Sales, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, and HR.

Knowledge of other ERP systems and their integration with Odoo.

Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
